3. Why make free cakes?
I am new to decorating and I want to gain experience. Like anything,
practice will improve my decorating ability. Another reason is
I love weddings. I have found that many people I have made cakes
for wouldn't have had one usually due to cost. It is a win/win situation.

4. Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes, I can prepare a custom-tailored sample for you to take home.

5. Can I consult with you over the phone or by e-mail?
Absolutely.  Most of our clients are from out-of-town.

6. Can we mix and match flavors for cake tiers, and is there an
additional charge?

We can certainly make each cake tier to be composed of different flavors.
No additional charge.

7. Can we order a smaller ceremonial cake (to cut) and have a
sheet cake to supplement?

Since my cakes are baked and decorated for free, and you only cover
cost for supplies, getting a sheet cake will save you no money. So, go
ahead and have a full size pretty cake!

8. Can you garnish our cake with fresh flowers?

I only do silk flowers. There are also safety concerns to take into
account when using fresh flowers with food.
Many popular wedding
flowers are indeed considered toxic.  Another thing is usually the cake
sits for hours before it's actually cut, by that time the flowers wilt.
So, if you want fresh, you will need work that out with your florist.
Your  florist or yourself would have to put the flowers on the cake as well.
If you are happy with silks, I can do that.
If there is any kind of
arrangement  (meaning beyond a flower here and there) I do have
a lady that does silks for me.

9. What cake accessories do you have for use?
Cake stands, stairs, pillars and some silk flowers. Click  here to see.
I charge no rental fee, only a deposit to be returned when I get the items
back. Deposit is actual cost should I have to replace it.
Cake knives and other accessories can be rented through your caterer,
or most local catering supply rental companies.

10.  Do you slice and serve the cake?
No.

11. How do I book my cake?
Full payment holds the date and your cake. Why not just a deposit?
Most bakeries charge a deposit about half of the total cost of the cake.
Since my prices are about half of the cost anyway that you would pay
a professional bakery, I take full payment.

12. What methods of payment do you accept?

Paypal, money orders and cash.

13. How do short notice/emergency cakes work?
Payment for cakes must be made before I make the cake, this includes
emergency cakes.  I will try my best to make the cake you'd like but
it is pretty much what ever I can whip up fast.
